“ Lovely pub, great staff and atmosphere. ”
“ We were recommended to eat lunch here at The Duke of Wellington by one of the locals we met in the street. Great value, piping hot food, served promptly and with a friendly smile! Thank you especially to Susie who made my mum and dad feel very welcome. The ham, egg and chips were really tasty as was the scampi. Lagers and beer were also great! We all really enjoyed our delicious food and a nice window seat. We will definitely visit again and recommend this super pub! ”
“ We visited during the last Wareham Wednesday event and despite being very busy we had a lovely meal from a friendly team. It was Steak night and my Wife and I had a rump steak and steak burger. Both were cooked as we asked and very tasty. Excellent value all round and we'll be back. ”
“ Good quality food at a fair price. Can see why this place is popular with the locals because of this and the friendly service. ”
“ Lovely down to earth pub. Super friendly staff and delicious food especially the crumble! Roast dinners on Sunday. ”
“ Sunday lunch was excellent we went for the small plate and was glad we did ”
“ Popped in for dinner, very friendly, Very good food, obviously prepared with love and care, Chatted to Mark, the owner and stand in chef, who prepared a salad so fresh I doubt if I could do better if I ran back from my greenhouse with freshly picked produce. Had very intetesting chat about the buildings in Wareham, Really enjoyed it so went back the next evening. Thankyou Jon and Rachael ”
“ We stopped off for lunch and to enjoy a proper English Sunday Roast dinner at a good old English pub. I had the nut roast and my partner the roast beef. Good food cooked just the way you got it when you were growing up from the best family cook, good local beer. Excellent Yorkshire puddings. The lass behind the bar is friendly and helpful. Quite a few regulars and there is a real family feel to the place. Good carpark out the back but you do have to pay for parking. Wareham is easy to walk around and this pub is central. Lovely town. ”
